Paper Words # 2010AIROSA MENTE de Salva Torres
There is a firm, safe stairway. Its wooden steps are solid, with no cracks. Also there are sheets of paper fallen on the steps, or about to fall, pushed by air from an open window or door which we do not see. Each step connected to the others, as we all communicate in life: with the certainty of what is immediate. However, these loose sheets introduce chance, uncertainty, random: in all, the strangeness of life. This stairway, just as our conscience, is suddenly shaken by the interruption of those blank sheets of paper. Had we shut the door or the window that favoured the air current in the picture, none of this would have happened; which is what we often do. Luckily Mery Sales forgot. Or did not. Who knows?
